I am very happy with the publication of a new book about my life and work: “Renny Ramakers – Rethinking Design”. The book is written by Aaron Betsky and based on conversations with me and people close to me personally and professionally. Through hundreds of documents, designed into a beautiful whole by Irma Boom, Aaron explains about my work in the world of design as a writer, curator and thinker. It presents not only my personal history but also our ideas about design, culture and politics.
The book is published by Lars Müller Publishers.
Love how Irma Boom’s design weaves hundreds of docs into a beautiful whole-I even used the site’s browser OCR to convert scanned pages to editable text for my notes. Converting jpg to text was so smooth!
